We are The Desert Divas
and we are a Middle Eastern Dance
- Belly Dance - performance group based in Barry, South Wales.We first performed in June 2004
and we are going from
strength to strength,
with each new performance
outdoing all of the previous ones!
During 2004, 2005, and 2006 we were asked to perform at public
shows and, as a result, we received many private bookings - such as Wedding parties, Birthday parties, WI meetings and club meetings!
With the beginning of the new year of 2007, the Desert Divas have grown in number and the group now consists of 15 performing members, we are always delighted to welcome new Divas into our family.

Welsh music and Dance
on Saturday, 22 September 2007
